About the Glossary

This mini-glossary lists abbreviations and provides concise explanations for important concepts used on the gateway.

ILSAs are developed by different organizations and within different contexts; as a consequence, each study has its own characteristics and specifications as far as terminology is concerned. Although study-related information is presented on the gateway in a standardized format, names and terms are used as they appear in official study documents.
