
The IEA is calling for submissions for its annual research awards. They were established to honor the legacies of Bruce H. Choppin and Richard M. Wolf and recognize high-quality empirical research utilizing IEA data.
Award Categories:
- IEA Bruce H. Choppin Memorial Award: Recognizes exceptional master's theses or doctoral dissertations that employ empirical research methods and use IEA data. Winners will receive a certificate and a €1,000 prize.
- IEA Richard M. Wolf Memorial Award: Awarded to authors of a paper published in a refereed journal, a monographs, or a book that includes analysis of data from one or more IEA studies. Recipients receive a certificate and a €1,000 prize.
Entry Requirements:
- Deadline for Applications: March 31 annually
- Application Process: Candidates should self-nominate and submit applications via email to secretariat@iea.nl.
- Evaluation: Submissions are reviewed by the IEA Research Awards Committee, with results announced within six months of the closing date, and the winners may be asked to present their research at the IEA General Assembly meeting of the same year.
