Webinar: Enhancing the Generalizability of Impact Studies in Education (SEER Webinar 1)

The Institute for Education Sciences (IES) has launched the Standards for Excellence in Education Research (SEER) to improve educational research. This series is accompanied by practical guides for researchers on how to implement these standards. One of these guides deals with how to achieve generalizability of impact studies in education. This webinar from May 16, 2022, is based on this publication.

New Series for Teachers: IEA’s Teacher Snippets

The International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA) has launched a publication series called “Teacher Snippets”, providing teachers and other interested parties with summarized findings from IEA international large-scale assessment (ILSA) studies and other research to give back to teachers. In this text, two of these snippets (related to sense of belonging to school and to strengthening positive reading attitudes) are introduced.
