Rethinking Educational Assessment in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Introduction

The 42nd Association for Educational Assessment in Africa (AEAA) Annual Conference will be hosted by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) from 17 to 21 August 2026 at the Gran Meliá Hotel in Arusha, Tanzania. The conference will explore the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in educational assessment. It will bring together key educational stakeholders from Africa and around the world, primarily representatives of national educational assessment bodies.
