SACMEQ IV Study Organization

SEACMEQ Coordinating Centre (SCC)

• Comprises the SEACMEQ secretariat
• Manages daily operational activities
• Provides administrative and technical support for the SEACMEQ National Research Coordinators (NRCs) and their deputies
• Works with partners to obtain funding for the cross-national cooperative components of SEACMEQ’s research and training programs
• Implements policies through a number of committees

SEACMEQ Managing Committee

• Consists of seven ministers of education that are elected by the SEACMEQ Assembly of Ministers for a two-year period
• Coordinates the details of SEACMEQ’s administration and finance

Steering Committees

• National committees that consist of a number of high-ranking officials from the participating countries’ ministries of education
• Oversee the country operations of each SEACMEQ member
• Oversee the work of the NRCs and their teams

SEACMEQ national research coordinators (NRCs)

• Coordinate all country-level SEACMEQ activities
