Vacancy: Senior Research Associate I, Research & Evaluation at Seattle Public Schools

Seattle Public Schools is seeking a full-time Senior Research Associate to work closely with the Research & Evaluation Director and other team members to perform comprehensive research and data analysis of mixed approaches and to support the implementation of Seattle Excellence, their five-year strategic plan that focuses on serving students of color who are the furthest away from educational justice, beginning with African American boys and teens.

Applicants must have a doctorate degree in education, social science, statistics, economics, public policy, or related field with 5 years of relevant work experience. In addition, applicants must have experience in K-12 educational research and demonstrated experience focusing on Black boys and teens, working closely with organizations focused on addressing and supporting the specific needs of Black students, families, and communities of color.
