- Gender gaps: Compared to 2019, TIMSS 2023 reveals increased gender disparities, particularly in fourth-grade mathematics.
- Attitude and performance: Positive attitudes toward mathematics and science correlate with higher achievement, though enthusiasm declines significantly by eighth grade.
- Socioeconomic influences: Students with greater home resources consistently achieve higher results than their peers with fewer resources.
