Releases: PIRLS 2016 international results available

UNESCO, co-hosting with IEA, has released the international results of PIRLS and ePIRLS 2016.

The Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS), assesses trends in reading comprehension at Grade 4 every five years in countries worldwide. PIRLS 2016 is the fourth assessment in the current trend series (PIRLS 2001, 2006, and 2011).

The reports cover international reading achievement along with the inaugural assessment of online reading.
