This international summer school focuses on enhancing the research capacity of young scholars by deepening their understanding of educational data analysis, particularly through the use of PASEC data, to address key educational challenges in Africa.
Introduction
The CONFEMEN Programme for the Analysis of Education Systems (PASEC), in collaboration with Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar and Laval University, is organizing an intensive and collaborative summer school aimed at master’s and doctoral students, as well as young researchers in education science interested in deepening their skills in comparative educational data analysis. Participants will have the opportunity to explore and analyze data from several African countries to address major educational issues.
Event Date
The International Summer School will run from August 24 to September 6, 2025.
Location
The event will take place in Dakar, Senegal.
Eligibility criteria
- Proficiency in the French language
- Student status in a master's or doctoral program, or early-career researcher status at a university institution
Application
Candidates must submit a complete application package (including a CV, a letter of recommendation, a transcript, and proof of enrollment in a university) via the online form by December 15, 2024.
