These new publications, which aim to transform information into knowledge for use in the classroom, to inspire curiosity, and to ignite discussion among practitioners, have been stored in a digital context specifically designed for teachers.
In order to provide insights for the classroom, the IEA Teacher Snippets series integrates other research with evidence-based findings from IEA studies that are both universal and country-specific.
In June 2022, IEA launched the Research for Educators book series with its first published volume, Putting PIRLS to Use in Classrooms Across the Globe: Evidence-Based Contributions for Teaching Reading Comprehension in a Multilingual Context, developed in partnership with the Dutch Center for Language Education. The book series aims to inspire educators by providing instructional materials for the classroom based on IEA study findings.
