Call for Papers: Special Issue on Education in BRICS States

The Educational Studies journal is calling for scholarly contributions to a special issue titled "Educational Mosaic: Understanding BRICS States." This issue will delve into the educational landscapes of Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, as well as Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates. Scholars are invited to explore topics such as policy and governance, curriculum development, educational equity, teacher education, and higher education challenges in these diverse regions.

The guest editors, Liesel Ebersöhn, Geovana Mendonça Lunardi Mendes, and Sergey Kosaretsky, seek submissions that include empirical studies, theoretical analyses, and literature reviews—especially those offering comparative or interdisciplinary perspectives across BRICS nations. Manuscripts must be in English and submitted via the journal’s online system by 15 November 2024.
