The International Civic and Citizenship Education Study (ICCS) gathers data and provides information about citizenship and democratic skills of students in the eighth grade. The “Good Citizenship for the Next Generation. A Global Perspective Using IEA ICCS 2016 Data” is a new book that provides a rich, synthetic theoretical analysis of citizenship and youth. It offers observations on how young people from diverse cultures understand and relate to different dimensions of citizenship, focusing on the social and educational factors associated with different citizenship profiles.
