Launch of the Responses to Educational Disruption Survey (REDS) Report

Education Resilience and Transformation. Evidence for Recovery

On January 24, 2022, in connection with the United Nations’ International Day of Education, UNESCO and IEA will hold a 90-minute session to publicly release the Responses to Educational Disruption Survey (REDS) open access International Report and International Database. REDS provides first-hand and internationally comparable data from eleven countries across the world on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on secondary education.

This online session will showcase the data that can build an evidence base for innovative models of learning to assist educational systems as they plan for recovery. It will also provide an understanding into the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on teaching and learning, the well-being of students and teachers during disruption, and how teachers and students are transitioning back to schools, looking towards the future of education.
